Most memories fade with time, however, some memories are much too strong to fade. Yes, some memories are a trauma on the very fabric of existence and will remain an ugly stain in time until forcibly removed. Kisame Hoshigaki, is one such stain. Killed long ago his spirit has gripped tightly to life like a sinner not wanting to pass over for fear of the other side. Thus, it was through sheer willpower and supreme hatred for all things living that Kisame now walked the earth again.

The tailed beast without a tail found himself in his natural habitat, the seaside. Standing atop a circular stone platform a foot above the water with a radius of five meters the monster gazed inland with a hungry glare. His hulking figure looked much like a shipwrecked individual escaped from Davey Jone's locker. He wore no shirt, which exposed his pale blue torso, and he had on a pair of tattered black pants. In death trivial matters such as loyalty to the akatsuki meant nothing, mere distractions. Strapped loosely, yet securely, across his back hung his signature broadsword, Samehada, but he also carried with him a smaller katana hanging from his right hip. Topping off his arsenal was a weapons pouch strapped securely to his upper left thigh wherein he held ten kunai and a length of wire. Simply put, he was ready to take the world by storm, if only he could collect his thoughts.

The shore ahead of him sat about forty meters out. He could see evergreen trees swaying in the wind. It was tranquil, the clam before the storm no doubt. In fact, the sky above held a dark grey color heavy with a coming rain. With his hands quickly weaving the familiar hand signs he coaxed rain from the sky, his rain. As rain poured from the sky, and his hands dropped to his side, the Hoshigaki allowed his mind to wander, how had things changed since his 'death'? Where was he? Twitching on his back he knew the wrapped up Samehada was hungry, some poor soul had to give up their life soon. Despite his mind wandering a part of him kept a constant check on his surroundings, he was no naive fool. No, he was Kisame of the hidden mist and he wanted blood; he needed blood and he would have it.

A beast of epic proportions had caught the sight of Xyxer from over hundreds of metres away. Tales of a monster risen from the dead. Naturally, Xyxer was a man of curiosity but very little hope, yet the desire for bloody combat had overwhelmed him and forced him to head in the direction of the tales, walking across the ocean until he caught sight of the person in question. From the distance he was currently at, 50 meters, he could see blue skin, dark blue hair sticking upwards.. A weapon on their back covered in bandages.. His heart skipped a beat, although obviously, not causing any actual damage in case you try to be a dick. Was this Kisame? Was that his Samehada? Wait, no.. that was not wishful thinking.. Was that Xyxer's Samehada in his possession? How kind of him to offer it back!

He noticed soon after that although the sky was dark with ominous promise, the only rain in sight appeared to have Kisame at it's epicenter.. Looking towards him some more, he internally shook his head, deciding to not walk into the grounds of the monster, but allow him to walk into Xyxer's grounds. In case the man did not see him, he decided to open it up with a casual flick of his left wrist in a greeting wave, "Hello!" His clothes were very casual, after all, he had just came from one of Shimagakure's islands, one that was less obscured by the mist. Sunlight was nice every now and again.[Since I'm lazy, just say he's wearing the stuff in the provided picture, no footwear]

A feral grin spread across Kisame's face as he sensed his prey. Xyxer was felt long before he was seen. However, the Hoshigaki made no move to intercept him, after all why hunt when the prey came to you? The weak are often attracted to the strong, it is the nature of humans. The first of many victims approached Kisame willingly. People had become far less intelligent over the years, that much was now clear.

Fifty meters directly across from Kisame stood a figure who looked not unlike a tacky tourist, how irksome. Perhaps Samehada would not wish to eat something so tacky? Of course such a thought was quickly discounted as everything looked the same once digested by his monstrous blade. Honestly, this newcomer was really quite weird as he sat on the shore littered with sharp rocks hungering for blood. Well, sort of on shore, he stood atop a tide pool on the shore, which no doubt prevented him from hurting his feet too badly, this lay in sharp contrast to the water smoothed rock Kisame stood on.

Not wanting to waste too much energy on a tacky weakling such as the man across from him, Kisame drew a single kunai in his left hand and flicked it lazily in a smooth arc just as the man rose his hand in greeting. With the practiced eye of a battle hardened shinobi he aimed the kunai directly for the center of the man's chest. Hopefully the man would drop dead like a ragdoll and he could then go retrieve the body. As the kunai traveled through the air Kisame trained his eyes on the torso of the newcomer, Xyxer; he fully expected a kunai to sprout from the man's chest at any second.

During his wave, it was probably to be noted that Xyxer did not pull a Takeo and decide to gaze at some avian patrolling the skies. As such, his eyes remained firmly on the barely dressed individual and the metallic glint they produced towards the start of his wave. Allowing a chuckle to escape from his mouth, he followed it all the way from when it was being produced on the body from the thigh. Shrugging his shoulders, this would be a good time to test what the shark was made of, or, more hopefully, see what it was made of. You see, while one hand raised for the wave, his other entered the weapon pouch that was secured to his left thigh. Sure, it was a bit inconvenient, but Kisame had not even thrown the kunai yet. Retrieving two kunai, the secondary one with a tag wrapped around it's base, he lifted them out and swung his right arm as if it was a casual backhand in tennis. He released one kunai before the other, allowing it to travel a second before the other one before he finally released the kunai tied with a tag; this worked by having the hilts of the kunai held between his fingers , releasing them one by one, which most likely obscured the tagged kunai from the sight of the monster. Regardless, the tagged kunai traveled about a foot away from thrown kunai and roughly half a foot below it, allowing for it to easily be mistaken as an afterimage, given how there was too much distance to discern any actual differences. Naturally, the first kunai was aimed to intercept the first kunai that Kisame had thrown in order to knock it away, if it was to hit, both kunai (first from Xyxer, first from Kisame) would fly upwards with the discharge of momentum and hit the ground roughly, avoiding the tagged kunai. The tagged kunai however, traveled further downwards and was intended to strike the center of the stone Kisame stood upon, since that is where he was supposed to stay. Now, despite there being 50 meters between the two, the kunai had collided within two seconds 25 meters between the two, which gave Kisame another two seconds to avoid the tagged kunai. Xyxer's left hand remained upwards, the wave now mocking with a shit eating grin apparent on his face. "Lovely day!" However, he was not used to his throwing strength being matched.. This Kisame certainly had some terrifying prospects when it came to close combat.

Well, this was boring. It became abundantly clear to Kisame that the man across from him was not worth his time in the slightest. He did indeed fail to see the second kunai, which unbeknownst to him had been wrapped in an unprimed explosive tag, but its trajectory was such that it was a low shot. It did hit the center of stone where Kisame stood, but just barely. In fact, it skipped harmlessly between the monsters legs and into the sea beyond-nothing was exempt from gravity and to come from above the kunai would have had to have had a steeper trajectory than the first kunai thrown. If all the man could do was throw a poorly aimed kunai or two he was no doubt not worth fighting or consuming for that matter; even Samehada twitched in disgust. If the man really wanted a fight then he would have to come to Kisame as the Hoshigaki had lost interest. If not engaged further he figured he might as well leave. After all, he had no business fighting a skilless shinobi who lacked the guts to come closer. Hell, even the poor man's verbal taunts sounded like naught but whispers as the wind blowing at Kisame's back wicked them away and sent the rain at a slant towards Xyxer. Perhaps Kisame would visit Konoha first, his old partner Itachi had always been partial to that part of the world, though it did lack water-shame.

Seeing as how a person can manipulate their actions when their character sees fit, this was the case when Xyxer suddenly realised his fatal error; he had forgot to actually put chakra into the exploding tag. Of course, he had let go by now and it was sailing through the air, which only evoked one thought from Xyxer; run. So he did, activating his eternal mangekyo sharingan as he dashed after the kunai, of course, not being able to catch it at all. Given how Xyxer was just over half of the speed of the kunai currently, he would reach the two kunai that flung up in the air when they had collided roughly one second before the kunai had neared Kisame, both shifting either side of Xyxer with their trajectory being the coarse stones a foot away from him in either direction. Now, as Xyxer had neared that spot, he allowed his hands to form a small number of hand seals at the top of his speed, and although it was not faster than Kisame's reaction time, it would be safe to assume that he could complete the hand seals prior to a reaction due to their differences in speed and movement being 1/2 the speed of regular arm movement. Now, what I'm getting at is when the kunai is three feet from Kisame, given that nothing interferes otherwise as it probably will, Xyxer's handseals are complete and he has traveled seven meters closer to Kisame, which allows for the tagged kunai to multiply into a thousand of itself surrounding the fish boy, and given that nine hundred and ninety nine of them were made of chakra, that allowed for Xyxer to trigger them to explode via free will, naturally engulfing Kisame in the explosions, which while not the main point would be cool. The main point being for the kunai between his legs, a few tens or so, that when they explode the weapon pouch on the inside of Kisame's left thigh incinerated from the blast with his own equipment being shot all around, with some aiming for his hamstrings, calves and of course, some aiming for his genitalia (since i'm assuming you can't actually train your nether regions to be muscly and defensive) of course though, the rest of the exploding tags explode and boom boom, kunai fly everywhere from the explosions and it's basically a kunai bomb, various amounts heading directly to Kisame's eyes, torso and well, shit, everything I guess it's boring to type.

Of course, if Kisame actually reacted to the blue haired man running towards him after throwing a kunai, then perhaps things would turn out differently, because Viper knows Xyxer would not use that jutsu for no reason, so what I'm saying is if Kisame foils his plan somehow as Xyxer is running towards him, the jutsu is not activated, but the next part happens regardless. Activating his armour and summoning tidebreaker into his right hand he charges towards Kisame, stopping 2m in front of him if allowed to and swinging the blade that was 2.5m in a horizontal slash towards the male.
